Hawaii - August 2015

Yay, Hawaii!  We went to Big Island and then to Oahu for a friend's wedding in August.  On the Big Island, we did several scenic drives and hiked around Volcanoes NP.  Then onto Oahu for the wedding fun!

Spain and Portugal - March 2015

We loved Spain so much that we decided to go back again-- this time to the southern region.  In March we went to Granada and Cordoba touring the Alhambra (amazing!) and the Mezquita, following by several days in Sevilla enjoying the fabulous food!  Then we flew to Lisbon and spend several days walking around (and riding the trolleys) touring that beautiful city!

Spain - April 2014

We visited Madrid and Barcelona for 10 days in early April.  In Madrid we did day trips to the towns of Toledo, Avila, and Segovia.  In Barcelona we did a day trip to Montserrat monastery.  Lots of great sights, food and drink! 

Australia - January, 2013

We had a great two and a half weeks in Australia!  First, visiting Melbourne and seeing the Australian Open Tennis tournament (and seeing Venus Williams' first match), then moving on to Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef (for some snorkeling and exploring the rainforest), and finally ending the trip in Sydney (to tour the famous Opera House and relax on Manly Beach).  We visited several zoos and animal sanctuaries, museums, and an aboriginal culture center. We also went wine-tasting in the country, visited the oldest brewery-pub in Sydney, and ate way too much calamari.  What a great country!
