Weekend in Glacier National Park, Sept 22-25, 2011

We visited Glacier NP at the end of September because we wanted to see the glaciers before they are gone! It was a beautiful park, although it requires a lot of driving (and a lot of waiting due to road construction). Even though it had snowed there the week before, we lucked out and had great weather with highs in the 70's.

France 2011

We had a wonderful trip to France, visiting friends, eating and drinking! We stayed with friends Bruna and Felipe (ex-Los Alamos people) in Paris, saw a day of the French Open, and then went on to Bordeaux. In Bordeaux, we did a lot of winetasting and visited the beautiful medieval village of St. Emilion on a day trip. C'est bien!
